Worth: Worth is, arguably, the most important aspect of the game. Worth, in basic terms, is simply the added up value of all that you have built, researched, trained, and own. The object of the game is to build up your worth, and having the most worth at the end of the round makes you the winner. Worth and Attacking: If you are attacked, you lose worth based on the units, buildings, and structures that you lost. When you are attacking, you must find a person within at least 50% of your worth. You cannot attack anyone below 50% of your worth. You can, however, attack anyone with a higher worth than yourself and above the 50% rule.

Rank: Your empire's rank is essentially your worth as compared to everyone else's. Rank is determined by your empire's worth, and is updated every tick. At the end of a round, the players in First, Second, Third, Fourth, and Fifth ranks are awarded prizes. Think of it as being like a race. Your rank is the place you're in.
