What IS exploring? Why is it necessary?
Exploring is, basically, exploring. You send youre workers off to explore, and they return with land; farming land, gold deposits, forrests, iron deposits and oil wells; along with some other stuff. (which the emu doest know, she never got that far)
If you don't explore, you have no land to build on, nowhere to build farms etc on, and basically can't do much. It's like the first thing to do to get stuff.
