Vamps guide through the ages
1st age
build 5 extra houses
put all your workers at work (you’ll have 5 lazing about)
after the houses are built get some food so you can build the other 25 workers
then put as many workers on gold as you can and save up for your school, build it.
When you get it put 14 workers on learning in +50% times an when you leave the computer for longer times. (+50% times take 15 mins per hour they say, so 3 hours per switch).
Research higher education And electricity consumption, make sure to build some power plants before researching electricity consumption Build your university.
If you’re going for market playing (this round seems particularly good for it) research diplomacy and trade but you can do this after advancing too, so no rush.
Wait for 2000 knowledge, during this time explore as much as you can, so you have land and resource spots to put your fresh workers to work.
When you get your 2k knowledge advance, it takes 25 ticks, so it’s a bit of a wait. During this time save up food if you don’t have a market. 5 ticks before you’re done advancing build 30 houses and 1 tick before you advance get food from the market if you have it.
Now you’ve advanced Congratulations
Build as many workers as you can, and put workers on food (or buy more food and put workers on gold/oil if you have a market).
Research scientific methods and build your research facility As soon as you have built your research facility put 164 workers on knowledge at +50% and longer times away from the computer.
Research seismic surveying so you can find oil wells on your explores you’ll ideally want 200 before you advance but 100-200 is okay.
There are 2 important things in modern age, explore and research. When exploring you’ll want as much res spots as you can to achieve this send smallish groups instead of your entire group in one go, 4x 50 is better then 1x200 the min usefull group is around 30 workers.
Also if you haven’t built a market yet research diplomacy and trade now, and get your merc rank up when you have a bit of spare resource (do this by buying and selling food at the min rank increase and make sure to keep looking at the space you have in your cargo warehouses.)

Research the differing kinds of power plants for more efficient power production.
You might want to build a few jets at this time to help you defend yourself but wait with building a big military till you have gotten to 3rd age.
If you have your 200 oil wells (or at least 100) advance to advanced age, you’ll need 10k knowledge for this so it might be a wait, in this time keep exploring, even while you advance as the prices will go up and it’ll cost oil to explore in 3rd age.
While you explore again 5 ticks before you’re done build 60 more houses Once you get to 3rd age train as many workers as you can and sell stuff at the market to buy more food. It costs 1000 food per worker trained.
Keep exploring and putting 164 workers on learning at +50% times.
Research deep space exploration Build space station, space dock , hbbl satellite facility, advanced weapon facility, and weather controle system (build this to get a grip on your weather, it gives you better weather and less chance at penalty giving weather)
Research satellite surveillance, advanced weaponry, wind power and light application.
This will also be the time to research weapon and armour upgrades (there are 5 levels of each going up in cost at each level) and counter intelligence.
While you’re doing this at any time you can build your orbital habitat and deep space colony (for this you’ll need deep space recognisance researched)
Keep exploring in smallish groups (30-60) in sets until you have 1000 oil wells and switch to as big a group possible then.
Now you should be building armies, check with your alliance what type you should be building.
