You can use tokens to simulate ticks.
To earn tokens: You can buy them for $1 = 5 tokens. You can also find token offers by clicking on the earn link on the right side of how many tokens you have on your My Empire page.
To use them: You can use them by clicking on the link by the amount of tokens you have under the resources.
