Spycraft is a recent addition into Universe Wars gameplay. Using a number of new ground units and satellites, users can gain a degree of knowledge about the victim's empire, steal a portion of gold each tick, or even sabotage certain buildings. Be warned, though! Others can send these at you too, and they only way you can get rid of them is by researching Counter Intelligence!
Upon introduction, spycraft changed many aspects of the game, forcing some players to completely rethink their strategy.
There are several different kinds of spycraft, all of which are split into two sub-groups - Personel and Satellite.
Personel
- Red Squad - Red Squads can be sent to a target enemy and will return with reports on the number of 3 random units that the target has.
- Elite Ops Blue - Elite Ops Blue can be sent to a target enemy in an attempt to destroy the enemy's Command Centre, rendering them vulnerable to attack, or putting a stop to any attacks they may have launched.
- Elite Ops Green - Elite Ops Green are sent to a target enemy in an attempt to destroy the enemy's Weather Control System, plunging their empire into an extreme weather condition which will, most often, slow down their resource production.
- Mole Worker - Mole Workers can be sent to a target enemy empire in an attempt to steal a small portion of their gold each tick, and can be very useful as a bonus towards your resource production, or simply to slow the production of the enemy.
