Discovery Age

  1. Build five extra Houses. (Each house provides five free citizens)
  2. Put all your workers at work (you’ll have five lazing about).
  3. After the Houses are built, get some food so you can build the other 25 workers.
  4. Then put as many workers on Gold as you can and save up for your School (300 gold), build it.
  5. After the school is built, put 14 workers on "Learning" in "+50%" times and when you leave the computer for longer times. (+50% times take 15 mins per hour they say, so 3 hours per switch).
  6. Research Higher Education and Electricity Consumption. Make sure to build some power plants before researching Electricity Consumption. Then build your University.
  7. If you’re going for Market Playing (this round seems particularly good for it) research Diplomacy and Trade but you can do this after advancing, so no rush.
  8. Wait for 2,000 Knowledge. During this time, explore as much as you can so you have land and resource spots to put your fresh workers to work.
  9. After you get 2,000 Knowledge, advance to the next age. It takes 25 ticks (NonPlus: 375 mins | PLUS: 250 mins). During this time save up Food if you don’t have a Market.
  10. 5 ticks before you’re done advancing, build 30 Houses and 1 tick before you advance get food from the market if you have it.

Now you’ve advanced! Congratulations!

Modern Age

  1. Build as many workers as you can, and put workers on Food (or buy more food and put workers on Gold/Oil if you have a Market).
  2. Research Scientific Methods and build your Research Facility
  3. As soon as you have built your Research Facility put 164 workers on knowledge at +50% and longer times away from the computer.
  4. Research Seismic Surveying so you can find Oil Wells on your explores. You’ll ideally want 200 before you advance but 100-200 is okay.
  5. There are 2 important things in Modern Age, Explore and Research.
  6. When exploring you’ll want as much resource spots as you can; to achieve this send smallish groups instead of your entire group in one go. (Four groups of fifty workers is better than one group of two hundred workers. The minimum useful group is around thirty workers.)
  7. Also if you haven’t built a Market yet research Diplomacy and Trade now, and get your Mercantile Rank up when you have a bit of spare resource (do this by buying and selling food at the min rank increase and make sure to keep looking at the space you have in your cargo warehouses.)
  • Build Central Intelligence
  • Build Airbase
  • Research Space Travel
  • Research Armed Forces
  • Research Armed Vehicles
  • Research Defensive Capabilities
  • Research Flight
  • Research Warfare
  • Build Space Port
  • Build Launch Pad
  1. Research the differing kinds of power plants for more efficient power production.
  2. You might want to build a few jets at this time to help you defend yourself. Wait with building a big military until you have gotten to Advanced Age (3rd Age).
  • If you have your 200 Oil Wells (or at least 100) advance to the Advanced Age, you’ll need 10,000 Knowledge for this so it might be a wait. In this time keep exploring, even while you advance; the prices will go up and it’ll cost oil to explore in the Advance Age.
  • While you explore and 5 ticks before you’re done advancing: build 60 more houses
  • Once you get to the 3rd age, train as many workers as you can and sell stuff at the market to buy more food. It costs 1,000 food per worker trained.

Advanced Age

  1. Keep exploring and putting 164 workers on learning at +50% times.
  2. Research Deep Space Exploration
  3. Build Space Station, Space Dock, HBBL Satellite Facility, Advanced Weapon Facility, and Weather Control System (build this to get a grip on your weather, it gives you better weather and less chance at penalty giving weather)
  4. Research Satellite Surveillance, Advanced Weaponry, Wind Power and Light Amplification.
  5. This will also be the time to research Weapon and Armour Upgrades (there are 5 levels of each going up in cost at each level) and Counter Intelligence.
  6. While you’re doing this at any time you can build your Orbital Habitat and Deep Space Colony (for this you’ll need Deep Space Reconnaissance researched)
  7. Keep exploring in smallish groups (30-60) in sets until you have 1,000 oil wells and switch exploring with the largest group.
  8. Now you should be building armies. Check with your alliance on what type you should be building.
