What is exploring? Why is it necessary?

Exploring is, basically, exploring. You send your workers off to explore, and they return with new free land; farming land, gold deposits, forests, iron deposits and oil wells; every now and then they will even find you some gold.

If you don't explore, you have no land to build on, nowhere to build farms, gold deposits, etc., and basically can't do much. It is the first and most important task you have when you first begin.

How do I get to the Explore Page?

The Explore Page is at the top navigation bar, to the right of the My Empire Page.

What's on the Explore Page?

On the Exploring Page you can set how many workers you want to send out, and for how many ticks they are out for.
You can also cancel your explorations on this page.

Current Expdetitions

You can have more than one expedition going on at once.
Each of those can have as many workers as you have, and can be gone for any amount of time possible.

Do different Age have different requirements?

Different Ages do have different requirements, mostly the cost of exploring varies in the different ages.

  • Discover Age - To Explore in this age you will have to pay with Food and Gold. You can also only explore for 6 ticks in this age.

Skill Rank

Your Expolring Skill Rank will determine the cost of each of your expeditions along with what age you are in. The higher your skill rank the less food, gold, and oil.
